I’m so glad that Autumn tore these vacuum bags to shreds. After all, the name of this blog is Stuff My Dog Chewed! However, since she left puppyhood almost 2 years ago, Autumn has stopped finding delight in chewing up everything in sight. You can imagine my joy when I came home and found this mess all over the floor… it reminded me of the good old days. Good girl, Autumn!
There’s nothing better than walking in the woods with a pack of dogs. They jump over logs, dash through streams, and jump in the pond. Some of them, like Autumn (far left), run around like maniacs… others lag behind. But all of them wag their tails and smile from ear to ear!
Autumn’s been frolicking in the lake with her pals today up in Phoenicia. I’m sure she doesn’t smell as cute as she looks!

Autumn was born in October 2007 and was adopted from our local shelter at five months. She's a very active and fun loving little girl. In the city she goes on long walks and loves to pick up treasures from the street, such as crushed Poland Spring bottles and empty Starbucks coffee cups. In the country, where she can run free, she loves to catch the frisbee, play with her deflated soccer ball, splash in the baby pool, and run in the yard with her friends Dewey, Max, and Busto. She's an adored and much loved part of our family even though she has destroyed many things in our house. After all, she's just following her hunting instinct... and it's okay with me.
